Join us on Saturday for a Regional Grassroots Gathering for all of Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore.This Saturday, June 3 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church (928 Effingham Street, Portsmouth VA 23704). Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.The theme for this year is the tools you need to be a community activist in Hampton Roads and on the Eastern Shore. In the morning, we will focus on important skills that all of us need: communications and outreach/recruitment. Lunch will be provided. Many of us object to the majority in both parties agreeing to fast-track the Mountain Valley Pipeline and add work requirements to SNAP and TANF benefits.
