During this workshop, people of different races and ethnic backgrounds will have the opportunity to reflect on personal experiences, discuss issues, explore theories in anti-racism work, and focus on how to make changes within their organizations and communities.
This is an opportunity to talk in an open, racially mixed, and safe setting about racism, white privilege, and internalized oppression as it exists in our communities while developing action plans for work in the New River Valley.
Virginia Organizing believes that in order to make long-term change, there should intentional and deliberate work to build strong anti-racism organizations. It is helpful to have strategic allies working together to build unity, shared visions and integrated strategies.
Please complete a registration form to help us coordinate a successful workshop. Lunch will be provided.
