Media Conference in Harrisonburg calling for legislators to expand Medicaid, presented by Virginia Organizing and the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP). This is one of eleven Media Conferences around Virginia calling for legislators to expand Medicaid.
Show up and march to give undocumented/DACAmented/TPS immigrants a chance. We will assemble at City Hall (409 S. Main St, Harrisonburg, VA) and have an opportunity to sign petitions and hear testimonies. We will then march to Representative Bob Goodlatte's Harrisonburg office.
Members of the Portsmouth and Norfolk/ Virginia Beach Chapters will participate in a new annual fundraiser / holiday party to wrap up the year's fundraising efforts for both chapters.
We at Virginia Organizing hope you will join us at the Paramount Theater for a night of comedy and storytelling with performance artist Ann Randolph. The show starts at 7 p.m.the night of Saturday, December 9.
