Doctors for America, a grassroots organization of physicians and medical students and partner of Virginia Organizing, is embarking on its most ambitious project to date next week. Beginning August 26th, in St Petersburg Florida, Doctors for America will begin an education campaign to ask the American People to demand that Washington, DC put the interests of Patients above Politics. The bus tour will visit the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL, make a few other stops in Florida, and then roll through Georgia and South Carolina on the way to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC to make our voices heard.

Please support our efforts to ensure that one day every American and every Virginian has access to quality, affordable health care. Below is our Declaration to America's Politicians.
Declaration to America's Politicians
We, the undersigned, demand our politicians put Patients Over Politics. We must work together to build on the Affordable Care Act with further reforms and commit to a future where everyone can get health care when they need it.
We believe in an America where everyone has quality, affordable health care and where doctors and the public work together to build a health care system that works for all.
We took a critical first step toward this vision when we passed the Affordable Care Act, a law supported by the largest physician organization in the country. We must now ensure the Affordable Care Act is implemented so millions of Americans can realize the full promise of the law.
