The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that Virginians can keep their health insurance subsidies and Virginia Organizing is very grateful for that wonderful news!

Today we celebrate that more than 320,000 Virginians who enrolled in the federal Health Insurance Marketplace and received a premium reduction through tax credits will get to keep their insurance plans and have access to preventive care and necessary medical services when they need it. The Affordable Care Act is here to stay!

Unfortunately, Virginia’s politicians have prioritized their political attacks on “Obamacare” over the needs of their constituents by failing to expand Medicaid. Virginia Organizing will continue to organize around Medicaid expansion and today we are asking that you lift your voice to publicly support expansion.
