Hampton Roads Social Justice Conference at Christopher Newport University
Virginia Organizing and Virginia Promise Partnership (VPP) are presenting together at CNU’s Hampton Roads Social Justice Conference 2025 held on April 15-18, 2025. We are speaking on collaborative grassroots efforts on improving early education and child care in Virginia. We will also address concerns with federal policies and how that will impact education in our region.

Give Local 757

We are springing into fundraising this season with our annual participation in Give Local 757 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Give Local 757 allows Virginia Organizing to fundraise on their platform. By participating in the fundraiser, we can participate in “prize pools.” The Prize Pools allow our organization to potentially raise more funds during the event.

So, we are partnering with the Norfolk Chapter during Give Local 757’s virtual fundraising event, and asking our greater-Hampton Roads community to reach out to family and friends to donate toward our grassroots efforts. That means we need your help in reaching out to your community!

Day Without Child Care 2025
Hop into action to support early education with your peninsula chapter today! Join us in D.C. for the Day Without Child Care event on Monday, May 12, 2025 (the day after Mother’s Day) as we rally in support of early education and child care centers.

We are improving our language justice and encourage Spanish speakers and dual-language speakers to attend our events and join our chapter.
