This afternoon in Martinsville dozens of Virginia Organizing supporters protested against the voter suppression bills in the Virginia General Assembly.

Tonight the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus is holding a forum focused on protecting Virginia's vote.

Please join Senators Mamie Locke and Henry L. Marsh, Delegates Delores McQuinn and Mark Sickles, and Dr. Roscoe Cooper III for an open community discussion about how pending legislation in the Virginia General Assembly is adversely affecting youth, elderly, women, immigrants and minorities.

Republicans in the Virginia General Assembly have been proposing legislation that could drastically affect the lives of many Virginians. This event will be a great opportunity for legislators and other members of the community to get together and understand what is going on in our government. Here are the details:
