Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia Organizing will host a media conference on tax fairness on Monday, April 15 at 12:15 p.m. in front of the downtown Charlottesville Post Office.
“At Virginia Organizing, we believe that educating children should be a higher priority than fighter jets that are excessive and extravagant and paying corporations to ship jobs overseas,” said Virginia Organizing leader Dave Redding.
Virginia Organizing has been speaking out against the use of taxpayer dollars to fund the excessive F-35 fighter jet that has been in production since 2001 and has yet to fly in a military mission.
Virginia Organizing is also opposed to our government giving tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas and corporations that use offshore tax havens to hide profits to avoid taxes.
