The Most Important Issue Before Congress

October 24, 2013 1:41 pm by: Category: Immigration Reform A+ / A-
Now that the government shutdown is over, we need Congress to make comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship the top priority! This week, we are asking all our supporters to do two things and you can help!

First, U.S. Representative and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor doesn’t just represent Virginia’s 7thCongressional District. His position of leadership gives him more power than just one vote. Virginia Organizing is asking that everyone call his Richmond office this week and ask him to support comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship. His office number is 804-747-4073.

Second, if you are near your U.S. Representative’s office for any reason, just stop by and tell the staff you support comprehensive immigration reform! It’s that easy. Find your Representative by clicking here. You can visit your Representative’s website from that link and find addresses for local offices.

Thank you for making immigration reform an important priority for Congress and helping to keep their minds focused on this issue!
