As I’m sure you already know, The Community Foundation’s annual Amazing Raise began this morning! Virginia Organizing is working hard to make sure we win some of the AMAZING cash prizes offered.

In the meantime, we will keep working to raise the voices of directly affected people on issues that are important to you. So far this month, we’ve helped immigrant students access resources to obtain DACA status, held a vigil for comprehensive immigration reform, organized a rally in Washington County to oppose hydrofracking, and held a media conference to lift the voices of several people directly affected by the lack of Medicaid expansion in Virginia.  And more!
