Virginia Organizing Community College Fellowship Program


Starting January 2025, Virginia Organizing is offering part-time, paid fellowships for community college students to engage in community organizing work. Our organizing training curriculum will focus on the intersection of grassroots organizing, political education, and racial and economic justice.

+Spring Semester 2025 (January-April)
+10 hours/week (10 weeks preferred)
+Stipend: $20/hour

Fellows will participate in:
-Grassroots Organizing Activities
-Legislative work
-Organizing Communications
-Policy and Research
-Outreach on community college campuses
-Activities promoting racial and economic justice for historically oppressed and marginalized communities, families, and students.

This will be a valuable opportunity to train on issues like a lack of access, difficulties with for-profit health systems, MCO issues, language access issues, and more.
