Richmond, Va. — Virginia Organizing Chairperson Del McWhorter issued the following statement today:

“Over the past few months there have been several independent investigations and news articles about the business practices of a company called Nexus based in Verona, Va. It appears to us that their business model of profiteering off of detained individuals is not consistent with our values.”
