Community Budget Forum: What Bad Budgets Mean To Us

FREDERICKSBURG-As the Virginia General Assembly continues budget negotiations, Virginia Organizing is hosting a forum on what a cuts-only budget would mean for Fredericksburg. The forum will feature Hap Connors, former member of the Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors, Peter Pfotenhauer, educator and President of the Spotsylvania Education Association, and a home health care attendant.

After four years of deep cuts to education, health care and public safety, another bad budget could harm the future of our community. The forum will include a question-and-answer period and a call to action asking local legislators to fight for a budget that works for everyone.
