“Virginia Organizing gives us a chance to really act for the people of our state,” said Augusta/Staunton/Waynesboro Chapter leader Elizabeth La Grua. “Virginia Organizing also gives us tools to change our society for the better.”

“The proclamation Virginia Organizing is receiving is important because it is vital that the city know we are an organization that can do something about the social and economic conditions in town,” said Augusta/Staunton/Waynesboro Chapter leader Barbara Lee.

Virginia Organizing Chapters across the Commonwealth are celebrating the 20 years of grassroots organizing for social change throughout 2015.
