What: Ebony Social Club High Achievement Award Presented to Harold Folley, Jr.

Charlottesville, Va.—Virginia Organizing’s Charlottesville area Organizer Harold Folley, Jr. will be honored by the Ebony Social Club for making a positive change in the community and in his own life. Folley will receive the High Achievement Award on Saturday, February 7, at the Club’s 36th anniversary celebration.

“Harold has come a long way in life and is doing well for himself,” said Ebony Social Club President Bobby Green. “We are pleased to honor his accomplishments and his work in the community. Harold is a good example to young people looking to make positive changes in their lives.”

The High Achievement Award is given to individuals from the public housing community in Charlottesville who have made a difference in their lives and positively represented the public housing community. The Ebony Social Club is committed to helping people living in public housing in Charlottesville.

“I am honored to receive the High Achievement Award from the Ebony Social Club,” said Folley. “I’ve worked hard to change my life and the lives of others by empowering people to be engaged in their community in positive ways. My work with Virginia Organizing is a big part of that and I’m proud to be giving back to my community and helping young people change the course of their lives.”
