Community Forum on Weatherization Jobs Program
DANVILLE-Virginia Organizing will host a community meeting on an exciting new program from The City of Danville to help lower renters’ monthly utility bills and create jobs by weatherizing up to 300 rental units. The Weatherization Program will pay up to half the cost of approved energy upgrades, and the property owner is responsible for the rest. Qualified residents could receive up to $3,250 in free energy-saving upgrades.
