VIRGINIA ORGANIZING TO HOST COMMUNITY FORUM FOR COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM
 
What: Community Forum on Immigration Reform
 
When: Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m.
 
Where: Free Speech Monument at Charlottesville Downtown Mall (rain location is the Pavilion)
 
Speakers: People who have been directly affected by current immigration policies
 

Charlottesville, Va.—On Wednesday, May 1, as part of a statewide campaign in support of comprehensive immigration reform with a clear path to citizenship, Virginia Organizing will hold a community forum at the Free Speech Monument in Charlottesville.
 
The community forum will focus on immigration stories from those who have been directly affected by current policies. Virginia Organizing will provide education on proposed immigration legislation.
 
In addition to the Charlottesville community forum, Virginia Organizing is hosting community events in Harrisonburg, Fredericksburg and Virginia Beach and supporting the efforts of other state partners in Richmond and Northern Virginia.
