The Charlottesville Chapter of Virginia Organizing has organized an ongoing voter registration drive starting in August.
NOTE: If you have not registered voters with Virginia Organizing, you need to be trained by Harold Folley, our Charlottesville organizer. Please contact him at harold@virginia-organizing.org, 434.409.0791. It’s very important that we register people as a non-partisan organization.
- We hope to have two people for each shift.
- Harold will provide supplies. First shift for each location picks up (703 Concord Ave.) before Sat. and sets up table and chairs where needed. Last shift returns supplies and forms within 3 days.
- For information or sign up, contact Harold even if you sign up online.
- Include cell phone number when signing up.
- Try to sign up with someone you do not know.
- Check to see if ex-felons’ rights are restored before registering them to vote.
