Clio joined Virginia Organizing as the New River Valley Organizer in June of 2023. She grew up in the Charlottesville area and graduated in May of 2023 from the University of Virginia, where she majored in Government with a minor in African American Studies.

Clio has a passion for “undoing the prison industrial complex and working with people who have been the most affected by our criminal justice system,” but she also says, “I really love how multi-issue Virginia Organizing is. I think it’s amazing that we’re working with people from the ground up on the issues that they think are the most important.”
