The first six months of Virginia Organizing were amazing! Here are a few highlights:
- We had 769 new people become active.
- 89 leadership development trainings were held with 803 participants.
- A comprehensive immigration reform bill with a path to citizenship passed the U.S. Senate.
- And much more….
Virginia Organizing does not plan to stop this momentum. I'm sure you've received all our invitations to the annual Grassroots Gathering happening this Saturday, August 10 at the Robins School of Business at University of Richmond (1 Gateway Road, University of Richmond, VA 23173, please note that this is a slight change in location on the U of R campus).
The Grassroots Gathering is a time to learn more about organizing and the direction of Virginia Organizing for the rest of the year. You are not going to want to miss this.
