As you are making plans for the year, we want to make sure you save the date for Grassroots Gathering 2017!

Grassroots Gathering is a place to learn new skills, meet new people, celebrate the good organizing work we’ve done throughout the year, and engage with decision-makers on important issues.

This year, we are back at the Skelton 4-H Center at Smith Mountain Lake.

Grassroots Gathering 2017 will be September 29 — October 1. We’ll send more information as the year goes on.

We have a policy at Virginia Organizing that we don’t turn people away just because they can’t afford to attend an event. If you’d like to help us raise money to cover those costs, or you would like to volunteer to help plan the event, please reach out to Nik Belanger at nik.belanger@virginia-organizing.org.
